And it’s words like THESE that keep me going. For REAL. Because when my clients say things like THIS about our branding photography session together, it makes me fall even more deeply in love with what I do + WHY I do it...
Because to me, it’s not just about getting good photos. It’s about seeing who YOU are, all the magical stuff INSIDE your business + what you offer, and capturing THAT for the world to see… so your clients can fall in love with you, too.
Siobhan came to me knowing she wanted new photos of herself and her card deck (used for meditation, journaling, self-reflection, and personal growth purposes)… but wasn't sure exactly what the final images should look like.
But that's okay (and tooootally normal)... because every branding photo session is a collaboration of sorts.
Using my client questionnaire as a jumping-off point, we talked about the look + FEEL of her desired imagery, possible locations to use, how to tie her branding colors into things, and even what to wear so her outfits felt like HER + fit the scene.
And then we PLAYED.
The true litmus test? Siobhan shared a few photos with a friend of hers who had THIS to say:
"You look beautiful and welcoming and safe. I love the color combinations (how what you wore works with nature). I think these are very on-brand."
Which was EXACTLY what we were going for. ♥️ ♥️ ♥️
And when Siobhan shared her branding photo gallery with her web designer, her response was:
“OMGGGGG just peeked at the photos!!! SO gorgeous!!!”
And then Siobhan even said THIS afterward...
"You did a wonderful job placing me and the cards in beautiful settings. And thank you again for a terrific experience. I so enjoyed spending time with you.
In the end, I love every single photo I've chosen. They feel just right."
So don’t mind me as I do a little happy-dance over here on my end…
Because it’s moments like THESE that light me up and keep me doing what I do.
Connecting with my clients, seeing them as they truly are + desire to be seen, and showing them how BEAUTIFUL they are, how beautiful their WORK is, and then capturing the essense of all of it so we can share that beauty with the world.
