Just when I was wondering if it was ENOUGH to simply follow my heart + share my newly rekindled pursuit of JOY with my clients... Chantal sent me THESE WORDS about her recent photo experience with me:
"As last-minute as possible, my best friend of nearly 20 years and I decided we need to do a photoshoot to celebrate our friendship. We don’t get to see each other much these days with me living in Illinois and he in Oregon. The fates aligned and I found Michelle at The Suitcase Studio.
From the first conversation, I knew she was perfect…
“Getting out to the desert, I got nervous but she had us play some games which got us going. Before we knew it, we were dancing and singing along to her music. She gave easy directions if needed and was so clever to place us in such a direction that we would glow.
“Then she handed us colored powder, gave us a few instructions and we were off throwing piles of colored powder at each other.
“It was one of the single most memorable experiences I have ever had. EVER.
“Her photos told the story. We never looked "engaged" or awkward. SHE GOT US.
And every picture shows that she understood who we were and our goal.
I cannot say enough about this wonderful stranger I found on the internet.
She is a beautiful photographer and is the best I have ever used."

Her words have fanned the flame inside my heart and confirmed the direction of my new/old path. These words now hang on my wall along with a few photos from their photosession, as a much-needed reminder to PLAY. To seek out JOY. To celebrate all the GOOD we have in our lives, and to hold tight to those memories + the warmth they bring us.
